It all started 8th grade writing poetry, hard times in the city and at home, I never knew what it would evolve into.Then, Donald Sledge was just a person who was into rap. He started listening to Eminem and used the alter-ego Sledgeha which was based off of his last name. Then conflict came and people said he sounded like Eminem and as he listened to himself and in10th grade he stopped rapping. He rethought his style listened more to TUPAC, BIG, LIL FLIP, BUSTA RHYMES,TI, Chamillionaire, T.R.O.Y. and LUDACRIS . Sophmore year of high school him and his cousin Anthony went to DJ BOBO's studio and created three tracks based off the instrumentals of La,La,La by Jay-Z, Ridin' Spinners by Three 6 Mafia, and Damn by the Youngbloodz. We also started a group called TBG(Thoroughbred Gangstas) featuring Me, Howard(Wiezie),Preston(DIZZY),Mark(Mizery)During Junior year I stopped and let a former rival rapper Terry Gray (T-Black) rap against me and I slowed down on it. During the summer before Senior Year my style was altered again due to my uncle. My Uncle got me on Public Enemy and Old school Cube and that added to my final inspiration and style and the flexibility I had. Near the end of it someone was beat boxing on a bench in foot locker at Saint Louis Galleria and I just started spitting, that gave me the incentive to get back on.Then after days spittin in the back of class T-Black got me back into it because he knew I had a something that people wanted to hear. So we went to go see Super Producer Wayco and I was Recording with the Super Producer nigga!!!!!!!!!!!! Then that was the same day I met T-Quest and the rest of the 3p family and recorded my first track which was originally U don't know me but we recorded it to High and I rapped for so long it went into Crunk Music and then Hail Mary True story ask Wayco. Then a year later I was named the Freestyle Legend of the 3P. So 3p stand the fuck up man we finna do it big and blow up.
Now the reason I named my self Duck is because my friend Jordan Plummer(The Muthafucka who will be runnin the WNBA in a few years nigga) gave it to me along with the rest of the Senior class, my name is Donald it would be easy to remember, If I came up to a nigga they would be warned to know what to do if we was beefin and I'm aimin for their face(DUCK NIGGA!!!!!!, and because the animal is limitless they SWIM they FLY and they walk on LAND and I do the same I sing I write and I rap. I'm always after my BRED too. I live my life like a Camron' line when I'm in the booth,
