3rdrail has been delivering sonic head blows for years, gaining a strong following and reputation for their commitment to good songwriting and an over the top stage show.
3rdrails live act is well known within the music community, polished by supporting slots with national signed acts such as Skinlab, Exodus, Prong, D.R.I. Systematic, Dredg, and others.
They were named "Best Unsigned Band In California" by the California Music Awards and shared the light with Bay Area favorites Green Day.
Selected 3rdrail tracks were used in the cult classic movie "The Hillz", starring Paris Hilton.
The new 3rdrail CD is the cumulation of a years work in the studio and thanks to the recording /engineering efforts of Juan Urteaga at Trident Studios ( Exodus, Skinlab) and the work of renowned mastering engineer Ken Lee, the CD is a fresh slab of killer sounds representing the next phase in the 3rdrail journey.
