The 3rd Rail ministry consists of five men that have five different testimonies with only one purpose: To magnify, glorify, and uplift Jesus Christ while encouraging people, especially youth, to do the same. Knowing that tomorrow is not guaranteed, each member of 3rd Rail actively shares the Word of God to everyone they meet, so that all will have the opportunity to accept Christ as their personal Savior, as well as spreading the gospel through their music. Many people ask how 3rd Rail got its name. One of the members was reading an EXTREME Youth Bible and came across a devotional that compared the Trinity to a subway car. The outer two rails were compared to God, the Father and God, the Son. These two rails hold the car on the tracks. The third rail is what gives the car power, just as God, the Holy Spirit gives us power. Music is an avenue that 3rd Rail feels will reach this generation of young people. For so long, Christians have categorized music based on the beat, and not the message being presented. However, in Isaiah 55:11, the Bible says that the Word of God will not return void and will accomplish what it was meant to accomplish.
