  • Quick thought for today

Don't let them catch you slippin. They want you to believe all the demonic things blacks had to survive is in the past. They say it happened a long time ago and claim you should either forget or just get over it. Remember....it was only a generation ago for some and two for others. Most of us have talked to people who knew someone that was hung. Most of us sit back and see how they turn in their white sheets for badges and black robes. Don't let them catch you slippin.

  • quick thought on facebook

it's really disappointing to see where a lot of people minds are. just looking around facebook at the things said everyday you realize how many would prefer to follow the crowd. they think it makes them cool and puts them above others all the while they're following followers...all of them blindly going down the path constructed from ideas by someone who heard from another person who heard itthrough the grapevine. they claim to have money and take it as far as posting pictures like they're the only human being to ever have a $20 bill while the people with billions look at them and laugh. what is seen as balling to some is being broke to others...perception is the key. what they spend on their car, rims, jewelry, and house combined is what someone else spends on a toilet. the true rich are controlling the media allowing the followers to think being smart and using their own brains is such a ludicrous idea they just sit back and compete with strangers. competition with a stranger is nothing more than a competition with yourself. it is important to learn your worth as it is. you don't have to take away or add to the real you. take time to read between the lines. actual hate and not the new generation hate is what will consume you and those around you. look at the past and take hold of the future. realize the best thing you can do for yourself and others is to be yourself around others.
