Donny and Sheldon got the brilliant idea of putting this band together back in 2003 after figuring out that playing the "Big Show" really wasn't all it was cracked up to be. Some said they were crazy. Others knew they were... but the fans loved it right out of the gate.
So back to the honky tonks they went. All of a sudden music was fun again! The first c.d. came out and things started taking off. Airplay, festivals, fairs... all the while the music was a blast. Performing for people who appreciated what they were doing made all the hard work worthwhile. Almost eight years and two albums later (another one is in the works kids... more on that later) 3 Ring is still going strong. In fact, the band is probably more focused and determined than ever at this point. The economy (or lack thereof) has forced Robbie Joe to head home and take care of family stuff. As sad as that is, we're excited to tell you that Jay Ewan has signed on as guitarist for the boys and his focus is right on track with Donny and Sheldon's. All of this could never have happened without you, our friends, fans, families and supporters (that means you times 1000, Momma!). We love y'all more than we could ever say. Check the schedule and come on out to see us. We're kickin' it hard and should have a ton of new dates up soon, so we're sure to be close by ya in the near future. Thanks again!
