In humble beginnings, Swinburne students originally held empty bean cans from one another, connected by a string. With this method they were able to share news, music and proper techniques for fondue.
By 1974, the dreams had outgrown the cans. Swinburne Student Radio was born. Like most memories of the 70's, 3SSR's was fuzzy and missing in some places. The 80's saw expansion and a unprecedented 30 spins of 'Wake me up before you go go'.
In recent times, 3SSR has enjoyed some minor surgery to cover up its aging lines. Now streaming live 24/7 at www.3ssr.org, Swinburne Student Radio will be around until Jesus returns and decides we should all be listening to Nova or something...

We need to put up a show list. We already have a grid (well Stef does). It'll take 5 minutes and be a lot easier to implement than a pretty splash page. I know I'd listen more myself if I know what was on when, rather than having to dig through Myspace and resort to the memory of the grid in the studio. Let's do this NOW!
