Benson first came into contact with trance back in 1999. The tune "Communication" by Armin van Buuren sparked him. He became an instant trance fanatic, listening to BT, Gouryella, Paul van Dyk and Tiesto.
Benson eventually got his hand to the first production software, Fruityloop at 2002. He went under the name "xtac" and produced several top 10 tracks in internetdj.com. "On The Run" won a mini competition held in internetdj.com at 2003, and soon, he establish himself as a indie trance producer.
He begins to explore many other genres and style under the name 3volvE (evolve), and at 2006, he was picked up by The Tektile Movement Records, where 3 tracks was release along side with names like Yukun, Razaq and Mel. "Loneliness" was well received by many, and was play on local radio station Lush 99.5fm. The record label had cease operation at early august 2007.
As his production journey goes on, he bring in a new style and quality. Under the name "Aréas", he will be making club style tunes, mainly Progressive Trance, Uplifting Trance and Downtempo tracks. Look out for he's new stuff soon!
