About me:

I'm originally from the UK and moved to San Francisco in 1999. People seem to think that I think too much. I ponder questions like "Is there any point to my existence whatsoever?" "Why didn't my father have performance problems on the night I was conceived?", "If there is a God, can it make a rock so big that it itself cannot pick the rock up?" and most recently, "Was it really necessary to make a movie version of /Bewitched/?" I am also an adventurous, loyal, and compassionate person who treats friends like family, and has a insatiable appetite for authentic mexican food and dim sum. I like trying new restaurants, reading books (anything from Dostoyevsky to JK Rolling), visiting museums, bike riding, hiking (Sequoia, and Tuolumne Meadows), skiing, taking classes at the Zen Center, furious political discussions (Republicans begone), going to the theater and most of all -- watching films (Blue Velvet and Vertigo are two of my favorites). If I'd been able to lead a parallel life it would have been as an Italian living in Rome.
