impulsively rhythmic and passionately classy sounds with a purpose! that is only the beginning when it comes to describing the freedom jazz trio. julian tanaka, justin peterson, and eric schauer are educated and dedicated. listening and conversing with their instruments, the trio has been a cohesive unit since early 2007, but the members have been friends for much longer. so whether it is children's songs and nursery rhymes, standards and straight-ahead jazz, or purely spontaneous creativity, you know they can say it at any volume and adapt to any situation. due to their love of music, their goal is to spread its joy and excitement. audience participation is often encouraged. the freedom jazz trio has delighted and captivated audiences of all ages all over southern nevada. it can be said that wherever the band goes, it fully fills a unique niche. -

Hello you beautiful people,
This Wednesday I'm playing blues at the E String (2031 W. Sunset, just North of Valle Verde) from 8-10:30pm (one long set), FREE, full menu, full bar, gaming (in the lounge) and all ages. This is an excellent band that is guaranteed to please, playing the best in roots blues from the delta to chi-town featuring AL Ek on harp and resonator, Junior Brantley on keys, Peter Trauth on slide guitar, Jim Lovgren on drums and yours truly, Trevor Davis, on upright bass. The E String is a very hip little venue and hosts various top notch acts....lets keep em coming!
