Hey, fantastic show the other night at the empty bottle. I've been a long time fan of the entire JOA family tree and this trip has been my first time in Chicago. Its really a great city and I'm pretty sure the band, my label, and myself are all going to move up here. Sorry about all the cell phones. I still really enjoyed the show. Thank you so much for all the wonderful music over all of these years.

You're a bastard for making me look at Flaming Guitars.  I'll bet you $20 you can't cover one of their songs. Double dog dare.

TOUR DATES

Hey Dallow, Spicer, Pinkie & Cubitt: I am reaching out to you because our A&R team saw you were coming to Subterranean and enjoyed listening to your music on Myspace. We are currently setting up our College & Digital Marketing Campaigns, and you all were a band we thought would fit great for our roster. We are confident that we could help garner some major exposure and visibility for your band and launch you into the next level of your career. However, I would first like to chat and learn more about the project...
....
You are making me facepalm to no end. Why would I be joking about this? And WHY are you playing stupid? You can get in serious trouble for doing this. Hello copyrights. You can stop trying to sound like you're right, WHEN YOU KNOW you aren't. So why are you doing this? Take the song down or change it so it says it's a cover. It's just wrong. How could you do this? Do you have a conscience? And if you really are that stupid.. (Which I doubt) http://www. myspace. com/amfootball - It's right there. Liars like you live the shortest lives.

From: OWEN Date: Nov 20, 2008 11:35 PM um (again)....I can't tell if you're joking or not, but I'm laughing anyway... mk

Why are you lying? They wrote that song circa 1999. You pretty much changed some lyrics around to make it your own (which really sucks by the way.) What's the harm of putting "cover" after it? You're a disgrace to the music business if you can't even write your own music and steal other people's amazing work.

From: OWEN Date: Nov 20, 2008 6:08 PM ummm...but i did write it. mk

Date: Nov 20, 2008 11:35 PM You should really put Never Meant as a cover since it is by American Football and you didn't write it. :| I apologize if you already did, but I didn't see anything about it. That's one of my favorite songs and that's why I'm reacting like this..

"We met the other day and you acted like it was somebody's funeral! You didn't laugh at my jokes and that girl you were with kept farting and it smelled like carrots; what a jerk, screw you pal!"

"owen, mike kinsella, sucks, fuck you asshole. you were such a dick to me in knoxville when you played at the pilot light. what the hell man, i really think that your overrated artistic credibility has gone to your head. especially when you accosted me for singing along with your bullshit lyrics when i was drunk. Don't come back until you humble yourself dolt."
"why didnt you record stolen bike???? its dead good man.... well i know you recorded it... coz im listing to it now... but whys it not on my cd!? ... is it just on the japanese cd or something lame?.. lol... i know you like them better than us english folk... you got a myspace photo dedicated to them. i emailed you agggges ago telling you something like the promise ring are cooler than you.... i take it back, there not now.... changed my mind like. but yeah, come to england again yeah?! oh and lemme take your photos yeah?? i'm totally better than chris strong like. p.s if i email you an insulting email telling you how crap you are or something... can i have a little section on your page like that other dude? lol anyways, i hope you get this man, hit me back, just to chat, truly yours, your biggest fan this is Stan "
