I am married to my best friend and I'm a proud mom of three wonderful girls. I am very active in my family's life.I enjoy learning and growing everyday as a person and spiritually. I think there's a reason for meeting certain people, and going through the ups and downs in this path of life. I enjoy discussing issues. I'm very independent and have no problems expressing my views. I have a special interest in immigration rights. I am a Cuban American having come to the U.S. when I was 15. I had things very lucky compared to my immigrant friends. I have watched my 1st generation Mexican friends suffer and be separated from their family and friends and denied opportunities that I had based on the fact they did not come from Cuba as I did. I have 2nd generation Mexican associates who have succeeded very well in the United States, but their parents and extended family have been deported or suffered otherwise. This is why I have decided to join Myspace. I want to express my opinion to as many as I can that the current immigration laws are not fair to all immigrants and are unjust and to network with others to seek change in our current laws. With the words of Madeleine L'Engle, "If you’re going to care about the fall of the sparrow, you can’t pick and choose who’s going to be the sparrow: It’s everybody".
