Five in a Hand started in A.J.'S basement, drinking pyrat rum. Back then It was just A.J., Bryan and Nate. They started by taking spots at the open mic at The Mill in Iowa City. After A.J. and Bryan moved to Iowa City, Five in a Hand aquired Ryan Persinger aka PERCY. Then they started looking for a drummer. It took awhile and they went through a couple drummers who have all been really cool dudes. Finally Alfred "Iron" Mannix was chosen. All five members are very different in their own ways, having roots in rock, blues, reggae, electronic, and punk. In the future you can expect to hear a wide variety of music and you ll never know what is coming next.
