240 Minutes

240 Minutes is a 90s alternative rock celebration hosted by Richmond native Kenneth Close. The night occurs on various Saturdays at Cous Cous on 900 W. Franklin Street. The goal is take a dive back to a time when mainstream rock wasn't complete garbage. In addition, you will find a variety of classic indie rock gems, unreleased material, and blockbuster hits.

Each month a limited run of posters are created for the event. Please take one of these off the table. I only print up 50, so once they are gone, that is it. They are designed to re-create the early sub pop 7" club graphics. Those early 7"s are responsible for bringing the grunge movement to the forefront and I don't think this genre of music would have been the same without them. If that doesn't sell you, at least humor me and take them.
