Westchesterfest 2010! Bring in the summer with 10 bands from noon to 3:00am all ages till 11:00pm! Midwest best cover and original Rock Bands, hit songs from 60s thru today and fresh new original bands! This is a DarkStar records show and a Rubber Man production! Bowling, pool, darts, guitar hero, outdoor patio, horseshoe, beanbag, Golden Tee, video games and Great drink prices!! There will be a tour bus leaving the Elgin area around 10am filled with beer and great times for $15 per person. Two Ton Anvil and Slam Bang will also be on the bus - come and spend the day partying with us!

Today is Billy Joel's birthday and I saw this quote from him;

"As human beings, we need to know that we are not alone, that we are not crazy or completely out of our minds, that there are other people out there who feel as we do, live as we do, love as we do, who are like us."

I can attest to that! There is so much comfort knowing we are not alone! Hopefully we can help each other out with that because aren't we all experts in the field now? lol

I like this;

We have the power first thing in the morning to set up our day in the right direction but I believe it's how we view it. Is our blank piece of paper the emptiness we feel or is it the beginning of something creative? I suppose that's up to us!

I bet I have spent 3/4 of my life questioning my abilities. I have pretty much always trusted my instincts when my gut has said no to something, but how often have I trusted it when it comes to tackling something head on? Not as often.

I hope that whatever your gut is currently telling you to do, you will follow...not just the "don't do it" stuff. :)

I have had the tendency in my life to just grab the easier route just to try and get through something quicker. It turns out this seldom works. I like this quote because it's straight to the point. You must! Well, as long as it furthers things in a good way, I guess we must do these things! It is gratifying after the fact when it's accomplished and our fears are absorbed through the cracks. :)
