Okay, so my name is jessica (obviously) and I'm a christian. I live what I believe to be a really great life and try to make the most of every moment (of course reality gets in the way of that mission quite often). I am usually described as, well idk. Some have descibed me as an observer, while others have labeled me a leader; many think of me as quiet, however, my family & friends could set them straight; sometimes I am bursting with confidence and other times I can't stand to face the mirror. I am just... me, not too much unlike any & everyone else out there. As for my interests, they cycle. I have a history of being interested in music, design, the sciences and crafts of every kind. Basically when it comes down to it I just like to learn about new and different things.
Music
As far as regular listening is concerned, I like:
Reliant K, Hawk Nelson, James Taylor, Queen, Michael Buble, Kansas, Little Big Town, Jack Johnson, Rascal Flatts, John Mayor, Plain White Tees, Green Day ect.
I also have found an appreciation for:
Raffi (lol, does anyone else even know who I'm talking about??) & any operetta relating to breakfast foods (if you don't get this it's because ur not meant to)
But for-real:
Basically, just anything original! My major annoyance with music is when contemporary Christian artists cover a song that just hit the charts when it was covered by a pop group/singer. Don't get me wrong, I like contemporary Christian music, but it is just lame to cover songs in that way.
Movies
I like a lot of movies, I am just lazy about seeing them. I hardly ever get out to the theater and trying to rent & watch a movie at my house without being interrupted about a dozen-million times is quite unlikely. That reminds me, I want to rent "Rent"...
Television
Gilmore Girls, ...? I don't really watch tv all that regularly. However, I do like to watch ..aries like on the various Discovery Channels. I also will watch the occasional "made for tv movie" (especially if it is a holiday special). I love to catch old re-runs of "The Cosby Show," "A Different World" & "Full House". I can't believe I'm admiting to this, but I do occasionally watch "Girls Next Door", it's kind of like a car crash, you just can't help but be amazed & disgusted...lol!!
Just as a side note:
I hate talent competition reality shows, I just cringe watching them because I tend to get really embarrased for the contestants.
Books
I like Jane Eyre, Cold Sassy Tree, Rebecca, the Harry Potter series, Little House on the Prairie, The Chronicles of Narnia and this line of Christian romance novels that are sold at Walmart. I just finished reading Wicked. Now I'm reading Confessions of a Shopaholic & The Catcher in the Rye..& that last one is a bit odd
Heroes
Anyone who enjoys life, questions everything, is always ready to try new things and goes after their dreams (sometimes that's a lot harder than it sounds)!
You're a pretty open person - and you don't mind sharing the good, bad, and sometimes ugly.
And while sometimes you do catch yourself blabbing on, you usually exhibit restraint.
You're openness is quite refreshing, and it encourages other people to be open with you!
You're a bit outgoing, a bit reserved
Like most people, you enjoy being social
But you also value the time you have alone
You have struck a good balance!

The "motorcycle thing" is very productive actually, Jess. Beau says that it's the only time that he is "phone" free...and can just spend time alone with God. And it's been very positive in bringing people to the church...that would never come otherwise. Not that any explaination is needed...
