Travel, music, singing, photography, taking road trips and getting away from it all.Music
Prog Rock from the 70's like Peter Gabriel Genesis, King Crimson, Yes, Jethro Tull, Pink Floyd and newer prog rock such as Transatlantic, Spock's Beard and Flower Kings. I also like Basia, Sonja Kristina, Jane Relf, Judy Dyble and the late Sandy Denny. These ladies have superb voices that are absolutely wonderful to hear.Movies
I have so many favorites I can't possibly list all of them. My favorites are indie films primarily on Sundance and IFC. I like indie films because they depict life as it is and not in the phony, pretentious manner of the majority of Hollywood films. I also feel that the majority of Hollywood actors do not possess the improvisational abilities of indie actors and definitely not the strong skills of stage actors. The fact that most of them are extremely overpaid is also a damper on my enjoyment of the film.Television
My new favorite is Burn Notice. Wow! what a clever show with comedy and never a dull moment. LOST is another favorite, although somewhat improbable, it has a lot of truthfulness to it and it is the perfect show to forget your troubles while watching!!Hell, it's BRAIN CANDY!!!Heroes
People who exhibit common courtesy and friendliness, all year long, instead of only during the holidays. That kind of human decency can really help someone feel better when they are down because it is almost like an instant renewal in the human spirit.

About me:
I love to travel. I have travelled to many countries and want to travel to more and more of them. Greece, Italy, Turkey, France, England, just to name a few are ones I have gone to. There is so much to know about the world we live in and there is a lot of it to see. Learning about different cultures and ways of life can help one to view their life differently. Traveling to far off places is exciting and enriching, however, upon returning home one often appreciates their home and its creatures comforts much more than before. I absolutely love music especially prog rock, classic rock and jazz, as well as some classic country and folk. I love to sing and I used to sing in junior high and high school. I started singing in a chorus again and I enjoy it because we sing songs from around the world (from Africa, the Middle East, Hawaii, Japan, just to name a few). I love to sing in harmony with others. I wouldn't mind being part of a singing trio one day in a manner like Peter Paul and Mary.Who I'd like to meet:
