  • General

    My life has gone to the crapper and stuffed it up and overflowing causing the people near me to run away as fast as they can. It just really sucks. All my problems started when I did not finish my college education and my life has been filled with failures since then. I recommend that if you are on the same path that I have been down. Finish your education. I am going to go back the road I have traveled and finish it so that I may be able to right the failures that have become me. I am a single divorced father holding on by threads at the end of cliff and it feels like the threads are about to completely break. The only thing that keeps me going everyday is my son Jacob whose life I feel like I have destroyed by having a failed marriage and the hope that my true love finds herself and decides that she wants to be with me. I am not always optimistic but I am trying. And that is a big step for me. I have stopped dreaming and planning because they are blowing up in my face everday. So I have been forced to live each day by day as if it were my dying day.

  • Music

    I like all types of music. I DJ so therefore I listen to all types of music. However typically my moods dictates what music I am into at the time. Right now music just depresses me and reminds me of how empty my life really is.

  • Movies

    Love to watch movies. Knocked Up and Forgetting Sarah Marshall are my favorites right now. Be it from my house or at the theater. I do not like subtitles. However action adventure, mystery, comedy, and even the occasional chick flick is great. Just depends on my mood.

  • Television

    All time great television shows of our time. Friends, House, Two-and-a-Half Men, CSI (original, New York, Miami), NCSI, and of course all major sporting events.Wish I could watch these shows again, however I am broke as a joke and can't afford cable at this time, But maybe someday soon.

  • Books

    The last book that I read was "The Shack". It was an awesome, powerful, and moving piece of literature! I suggest you read it if you have not read it.

  • Heroes

    Right now I would like to meet Jason Segel (Forgetting Sarah Marshall) and Seth Rogen (Knocked Up & 40 Year Old Virgin). I am a big fan of theatre and would love the opportunity to work with them on a production. I think they are very awesome and I could only hope that one day I may be priviledged to work with them.

My name is Dustin Smith. I am 27 years old. I am divorced. I have a 2 year old son, and am living in a new city where I do not know too many people. Even though my situation is not where I would like it to be, I have come to grips with the fact that my problems are all my fault and I am trying to fix them. I have a big house that I just recently moved into in Olathe and would like to meet some people who live nearby. I love to play sports like baseball/softball, bowling, football, soccer, and basketball. I love being outdoors camping, fishing, hiking, out at the lake, just as long as it is warm. I am not much of a cold weather fan unless I am skiing. I love watching movies and listening to music. I am a hopeless romantic and feel like my world has just spun out of control and I am on the edge and barely holding on. I DJ for a mobile company out of Topeka, and also one out of Wichita. Though I may have a broken heart which is shattered into a billion pieces. I have met a new woman and she is playing a big role in my life. However I have failed her and now she is gone and may never come back. I hope she does. But with or without her I have to move on. I guess the ball is in her court and the decision is completely hers! And I hope that she is the I am suppose to be with for the rest of my life. Because I believe her to be the true love of my life. I hope that I am not wrong.

    Hey man, I am dead serious about P90X!  It hasn't even been 60 days yet, and I am getting my Marine Corps body back (and even better).  Yesterday, I crushed 23 pullups without any assistance!  I haven't been able to do that in 7 years, and the best I did back then was 18!  When I started on day 1 I could only bust out 3 on my own!  If you have any questions, hit me up!  I'll give you a call sometime this week to see how things are going.
