About me:

hello , my name is graeme and i am 53 years old...i have non hodgkins lymphoma , a cancer that cant be cured but can be kept under control in 70% of cases , sometime this can be for a couple of weeks...a few months...a year..3 years etc...its a cancer that allways comes back sooner or later...anyway, i am a very posative person and i never worry about anything....worrying changes nothing and just makes people feel worse...anyone is welcome to add me as a friend... ========================== got into remission july 2009.....but this didnt last, latest blood tests and scan showed lymphoma now in hips , pelvis , splean etc... admitted to castle hill hospital for intensive chemo course [ DHAP ] allmost decided to give up after having had 13 months of chemo for 6 weeks of remission....the choice came down to months without the DHAP and maybe a lot more with the DHAP...sat typing this in the chemo unit ============================================= catherine , time is running out...just come and see me, im in the same place...only in the basement flat.. ================================================= xxxxxxxxxxx my flickr photo album is here http://www.flickr.com/photos/maryngraeme/ ============================================== JUST HAD SECOND COURSE OF R-DHAP CHEMO, FEELING SHATTERED.. THE PLAN IS ONE MRE DOSE F RDHAP FOLLOWED BY STEM CELL HARVEST AND THEN STEM CELL REPLACEMENT.....ITS A CASE OF JUST WHAT AND SEE HOW THINGS GO, HAVING ALLREADY HAD CVP CHEMO AND CHOP CHEMO
