About me:

The Stork Club Oakland is Oakland's longest running live music venue. we feature live music Tuesday thru Saturday every week and sometimes special BBQ parties on Sundays. every first friday of the month we throw open our doors to the Oakland Art Murmer street party and host a night of community supported giggles & jiggles called the FIRST FRIDAY FOLLIES BURLESQUE. a wild, bawdy night of Burlesque artiste's, comedy, musical acts and retro dance music on into the night. The Stork Club is an entry-level venue, that is, we'll try out acts that are just getting started, acts that are from out of town & playing in the Bay Area for the first time or even some pretty famous touring acts who like to do a show here to test something out or play "incognito" in a dive bar, just like "old times". that being said, due to the risks in trying new stuff out, we can't make guarantees on door or attendance. we serve a very diverse & ecclectic cross section of the community, so there's really no "regular" crowd, the attendance is 100% what the bands bring in, so when you do as show, make it a PARTY!
