As a graduate gemmologist, naturopathic herbalist and registered nurse, I have researched the nutritional properties of the minerals that make up individual crystals. The book has a mineral reference book at the back to understand mineral nutrition, and a chemical composition list at the front to find your minerals. Each crystal shows a photograph, chemical composition, healing properties and an explanation of how the minerals account for the crystals healing to mind, body and emotions. Using nutrition to research the minerals that make up the crystals and correlating those with crystal healing properties provodes a world wide accepted modality to explain why crystals DO heal.
