I think the further in you get, the more necessary it becomes to install all of the expansion packs. Seriously, pace yourself and then when you decide you care more about your sims world than your actual world, you can start to justify your spending on expansion packs. Eventually though, you'll have to do things you normally wouldn't (or maybe you would, i don't know if you're like me), like borrow other peoples expansion packs..

And go from there.
I recommend open for business and the university one. Remember to take ten minute breaks, and bring food into the gaming room so you don't get annoyed when you have to unstick yourself from the chair to fulfill your basic needs.

Ingredients:
2 drops grenadine
1 part irish cream
1 oz. sambuca

Directions:
Layer: Sambuka, Bailey's. Add grenadine so it flows through lower layers. Shoot.

Mind Fuck
Ingredients: 0.5 oz. Midori® melon liqueur
0.5 oz. white rum
0.5 oz. bourbon
0.5 oz. tequila

Directions:
Pour over Ice in a Small Rocks Glass... Enjoy

Mofo
Ingredients: 1/2 part vodka
1/2 part peach schnapps
1/2 part cranberry juice
3 parts milk

Directions: Layer in a rocks glass.

Whop Me Down Sweet Jesus
Ingredients: 1 oz. vodka
1 oz. gin
1 oz. white rum
1 oz. tequila
1 oz. triple sec
2 oz. blue curacao
sour mix
7-UP

Directions: Best in large mason jar. Blue going down Blue coming up.

Ingredients: 3 oz. irish cream
1 oz. Southern Comfort®
1 oz. butterscotch schnapps

Directions: Fill glass with 3 oz of Bailey's Irish Creme, then add 1 oz of Southern Comfort, followed by mixing in 1 oz of Buterscotch Schnapps.

Ingredients: 1 part whisky
1 part blue curacao
1 part irish cream
1 part malibu
5 ice cubes

Directions: Put the ice cubes in a half pint or tall glass. Add the Irish Cream (Baileys), then the Whisky followed by the Malibu. Lastly add the Blue Curacao for the perfect BMW

It's a pretty poor destination to go and simply hang out. I doubt they'd let you anyway unless you had a medicare card. First time hanger-outers have to fill in a sheet detailing their allergies and personal things.
