Beachfest is coming June 19-20-21, 2009 to Ocean City Maryland! This event features 3 days of Active Sports at the Beach. Surfing, Bodyboarding, Skateboarding, BMX Riders, Kiteboarding, 5 Miler and Sprint Triathlon. Beachfest Village will feature Vendors, Musis, Demos, Entertainment, Sports Celebrities, Surfboard Evolution,Health & Fitness exhibits, vendors, the Skip Dixxon Battle of the Bands and more!! SKATEBOARDING BEACHFEST PRO-AM AND GAME OF SKATE
-Skateboarding contest will be Saturday, June 20, 2009 at the Ocean Bowl on 3rd Street starting at 12noon. Game of Skate will be Saturday at the Convention Center on 40th Street at 7pm. -$750 Pro Skate CASH PURSE and $250 Game of Skate CASH PURSE -For additional information please call Brad at 443-497-3671

5 MILE BOARDWALK RUN
-Race to begin Saturday June 20th at 7am at the Inlet Parking Lot -Come watch "WORLDS FITTEST MAN" attempt to break a world record. Joe Decker, also known as "The Worlds Fittest Man" will be attempting to break a guiness world record by running in the Ocean City Beachfest 5 mile Boardwalk Run. His goal is to complete the full 5 miles in full military fatigues wearing a 56 lb back pack

ASSATEAGUE ASSAULT TRIATHLON
-Race to begin Sunday June 21st at 7:30 am on Assateague Beach -Race will consist of a ½ mile ocean water swim, 14 mile road bike, and a 3.2 mile run

BATTLE OF THE BANDS
-First band to go on Saturday June 20th at 3pm at the Convention Center on 40th Street -Bands include Arizona Lives, Split Five, SPiN, Sinners Saints, Maddam Ink, The Breakers, Blake Haley Band, Fat Daddy Has Been, Brixton Saint and the I.R.S!!
