Then I'd wake up in the morning and look at it and I'd often not even remember having written it. And I can tell you, some of the things were so strange. I trained myself to do it because I get a lot of my ideas from dreams. The glass bird in the 'Election Day' video was in one of my dreams. I was travlling down an entire glass street and there was a glass bird floating above me and I couldn't reach it. It tried to touch it and it vanished. I was speaking to someone about it the other day and they asked if I dreamed in colour and yes, I do.
