About me:
The 4th Annual Queer People of Conference is April 3 - 4 at UC Davis!!
This conference will allow individuals to come together & express a new sense of community. We'll redefine & introduce alternate forms of resisting, noting that our very existence is resistance and qpoc resist in their day-to-day lives via written, oral, thematic, artful & other means. We're aware that not all qpoc participate in "activism," but we insist simply being qpoc is taking a political stance. We'll come together to tackle issues, network in our communities, celebrate our creativity & redefine societal assumptions on what "resistance" is. The 4th Annual Queer People of Color Conference will promote that we are not a generation of apathy, we are a generation of action.
Dance Party!!
We're having a DANCE PARTY fundraiser next FRIDAY Feb 20
for the Queer People of Color Conference. It'll be at Delta of Venus in Davis. All ages/races/sexualities/genders/etc welcome!! $3 cover & donations welcome!!
We'll also be having a raffle with winners announced AT the dance party. Tickets are $1 each and prizes include t-shirts, posters, gift certificates for food/yogurt/pops, CDs, vibrators, and a BIKE!!

We're currently accepting Workshop Proposals until Feb 27. We'll also be having an art gallery and an open mic night, so let us know if you have (any kind of) art to contribute or want to perform by March 20.
