Welcome to Inez, Ky............. .. Diane Sawyer visited Eastern Ky over the past 2 years to report on life in the Appalachian Mountains. What she reported is not an honest depiction of the citizens who live here, the hometowns we know, or the beautiful mountains we love. Geez, apparently she had problems coming up with anything positive to report. 20/20 FAILED to report that the Appalachian Mountains have many nice country towns & cities. That we have many intelligent, beautiful, healthy, hard working people here who take pride in their lovely homes and well groomed lawns. We have many people who value education, and people who take care of their neighbors, she forgot to mention the great work that is being done by our school personnel, the Family Resource Centers, our churches, and various other organizations that are located here. They did not mention that we have many people who love living here, and people who wouldn’t live anywhere else. This is our home, the home we love, the home the national media seldom shows you.
