Oh I like alot of things, I like to read and talk lol and play golf. I like to cook and bake too. Recently I have taken up quilting. I love watching the longhorns on saturdays. HOOK EM HORNSMusic
I pretty much listen to everything except hip hop and rap. I had my son and became a fuddy duddy. Mostly I like the 90's and my usual DMB and alternative stuff. Of course I still love country. Acoustic stuff has really grown on me the last few years. I know I'm old when I talk about Pearl Jam and my sister says who?Movies
Man movies, there are a lot but I really am a chick flick person. I love serendepity and the notebook. I like 50 first dates alot. Don't forget Love Actually, it's a great love story!Television
Well I don't get to watch that much tv but I make a point to watch House and Grey's Anatomy.Books
Ok ok I admit it, I love romance novels, but not the cheap dime store kind, they have to have a good story line. I also like Jennifer Cruise and Nicholas Sparks. Don't forget my favorite childhood classics (lord of the rings, chronicles of narnia, anne of green gables) and harry potter!!Heroes
My husband will always be my hero. He is wonderful to me in so many ways there are no words. He loves me for who I am, along with the mistakes I make, and for that, he gets my undying devotion.

About me:
I grew up in west texas. I still love the sight of an open landscape with miles of nothing and a spectacular sunset. I married my childhood love and he is a gem and a rock all in one. My boys give me joy I never thought I'd find and watching them grow is the treasure of a lifetime. Music soothes my soul and a melody is all it takes sometimes to change my mood. I try to face each day as if it is new, and not the day I just finished. The military has changed my life and my philosophies for both good and bad. Texas BBQ is the best even when you live in North Carolina where the sweet tea will give you diabetes. I love hearing it rain and thunder and watching lightning blaze through the sky. I believe reading is underappreciated even if it is just a magazine you happen to pour over. I try to be organized but am more of an organized chaos then anything. I hate laundry, of all the modern technologies, you would think they could build a dryer that never wrinkled your clothing. I love wildflowers and could spend days in the hill country during springtime. I left a piece of me in Austin, TX where I hope to recover it someday even if I'm eighty. I think that nobody can make you happy, that happiness is only accomplished on your own and that love is a simple but powerful gift. .. .. ..
Who I'd like to meet:
I would like to meet my kids when they are 25. I have a few things to tell them about themselves while I still remember! LOL
