Here's a bit of info on our new "Snocap" store where you can download our music. It's fun, safe and easy! The company is co-founded by the Napster fellow, Shawn Fanning, and is a great resource for indie artists to sell their wares. I'll expand upon this later, but for now - click to the left of each of our albums listed ("Everything that ever was." and "Be apart.") to see the individual tracks - you get a bit of a price break if you buy the collection, but can get them one by one as well. The tracks below the albums are from my deluxe, 4 CD set called "Local artist.", which is a very limited-edition retrospective of my various musical phases (alternate title - "If a career fell in the forest....") At some point, as the store develops, I'll bundle them into album format as well. In the meantime, I'll send an actual CD to anyone who buys one of the full e-albums, just send me an e-mail! Track info: * To shore (or out to sea).: haunting folk ballad about love, forgiveness and letting go. From a live radio broadcast, duo w/ Randall Earl King on lead guitar. * Nocturne 3 (in Dm).: solo piano piece performed by my wonderful Chilean pianist friend Roberto Monsalve. It's an excerpt from a longer orchestral piece I composed. This excerpt was used in a Phoenix Theatre production of a very interesting play by Tony McDonald, "Savant". Recorded at Hit City, when we still had the beautiful old Steinway from Rick's Cafe Americain.... * Glass stations. (Alternate version): it's the one up here on the MySpace player. With Jeff Chapin on drums, John Byrne on lead guitar, and me on the rest. Chip Matthews engineered the fab-sounding drum tracks. This one rocks rather well. * Long distance love.: once again, from a live radio broadcast, this time duo w/ J. Byrne on acoustic slide, and Randall Earl and Hit City founder emeritus Dave Langfitt on backing vocals (and w/ Randy shaking his car keys as percussion, the wily old veteran...) * I used to know.: one of the earlier songs written w/ my long-time friend/collaborator David Rheins. He was - and is - so wise beyond his years. It took us a few years of life's rich tumble to add the second verse. Paul Mahern helped me record the acoustic guitars, and suggested breaking the part up into the beautifully-interlocking cascade. Jeff Chapin on drums, me on the rest. -

Thanks, Tim! Sorry I didn't call you back. I was in tech rehearsal when you called, and the rest of the weekend was a blur. Glad it sounded good on air. Let's play Indy again soon.

How will your family celebrate the New Year?
In New York, a million celebrants will gather to witness the ball drop in Times Square. In Paris, families throw dinner parties to ring in the New Year. In Madrid, they eat grapes and drink champagne. Many Aussies go to the beach on New Year?s Day. This week?s Familybuilder Family Poll wants to know: How will your family celebrate the New Year?

Well friends, another year just streaked by like a flash. By the end of this week, I hope you have looked at Christmas lights, listened to soothing carols, and hugged someone you were missing.
Wishing your Christmas is a beautiful memory maker!
