Who I'd like to meet:

The All-American Rejects sind eine US amerikanische Rockband aus Oklahoma. Aber sie sind mehr als nur eine Band; es sind vier Freunde, die einander gefunden und das erlebt haben, was man gemeinhin als „American Dream“ bezeichnet. Tyson und Nick gründeten die Band und veröffentlichten die EP „Same Girl, New Songs“ im Sommer 2001. Im nächsten Jahr stießen Mike und Chris dazu, und im Oktober 2002 veröffentlichte das Quartett das gleichnamige Debütalbum, wobei sich bereits die erste Single „Swing Swing“ als kommerzieller Erfolg entpuppte. Danach absolvierten sie eine Tour nach der anderen und legten im Juli 2005 „Move Along“ vor, auf dem neben der gleichnamigen Hymne noch zwei weitere Smash-Hits vertreten waren, „Dirty Little Secret“ und „It Ends Tonight“. So avancierten die bodenständigen Südstaaten-Boys nach und nach zu ech¬ten Rockgrößen – die Platte wurde in den USA mit Platin ausgezeichnet – und stellten mit ihren grandiosen Melodien selbst den Popsektor auf den Kopf.
