The rest can go to hell. | | Books | I'm a bad reader. Favourite books on film: Sculpting in Time by Andrei Tarkovsky and Cassavetes on Cassavetes edited by Ray Carney. But in terms of the rest, I'll have to wait until I read more of it. Halfway through The Sacred Fount by Henry James at the moment. That book has the best sentences. | | Heroes | Emily Dickinson, Vincent Van Gogh, John Cassavetes and Robert Kramer. |

About me:
I make films. I like dancing. I think too much. I'm obsessive. I take a lot of notes. I have insomnia. I love art. I think art is the most important thing in the world next to people and life itself. I think it's more than just entertaining---it can do much more amazing things, it can change you, make you see the world in completely new ways. I'm in love with the idea of using film as a way of exploring the world, trying to figure things out---a way of learning, a way of making me a better person and hopefully a few other people too.
