    Although I do tend to work a lot, I am spend a lot of my free time hanging out with friends, watching movies, traveling when possible, and sitting back with a good book and a glass of wine (or two or three!)

  • Music

    Although I am truly not into music that much, the music I do listen to is very diverse. I am blessed to have several musicians in my life, and their music is the only music I play on my site. So here's to Ash Blaze, Ash Roman, Ryan Ripple, and our resident MashUp Master, Ben aka Saturn6500!

  • Movies

    Can not get enough! Gone with the Wind, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Harry Potter, and Lord of the Rings are among my favorites.

    Ugly Betty, Hells Kitchen and Heroes are always set to record on my DVR.

    Until recently I have probably read only 3 or 4 books. Thanks to my roomie, my shelf is quickly filling up with suggested readings. Thank you for my new addiction!

Blurbs

About me:

2009 is going to be a BIG year for me!

First and foremost, I am finally turning the big 3-0. I admit that when I was younger, this was a very scary number for me, especially in gay years, but now I am hopeful. Part of me is thankful that I don't "Look 30" but part of me wishes I did a little. Maybe then it would be possible to actually find a guy my age!

Second, it marks the 1 year anniversary of when I took over dinner service at the Plano store of my company. Now, I was a manager before then but I floated between all three. Now, Plano is my sole responsibility and to me, its a big deal. Also, I will be celebrating my 2 year anniversary with the company. Shortly after that anniversary, it will be the longest I have even been with a non-nightclub company. Another big deal.

Finally, I will celebrate my 2 year anniversary of moving to Dallas by moving into my 4th home since relocating here. Its hard to believe that 2 years has gone by so quickly!


So you wanna know more about me, eh? Well... I work 3-11 usually 5 or 6 days a week for an amazing company. I keep holding out for the day shift but am comfortable, for now, where I am at. I have 2 amazing best friends, Brian & Aaron, the latter of which has been my roomie here in Dallas since I moved back and was my roomie in Omaha for 3 years when we first met back in 2001.

I have an AMAZING core group of friends who are always there when I need them and vice versa. They truly have become a 2nd family to me and I love them all to death. Sure, they tend to make me go out WAY more often than I want to, but at the end of the night, I almost always have a great time.

I love Movie & Game nights, cooking, traveling, being with my friends & family, reading, camping, hiking, history, and am officially addicted to my new Wii!

Who I'd like to meet:

As mentioned previously, I cherish my friends and family. They are what keeps me going. I want to continue to fill my world with outstanding and amazing people who will influence me to grow as a person and contribute to the success of our friendship.

And if I may quote a very special friend/ex of mine... "Lets face it... I would like to meet an awesome guy to get to know and settle down with".
