About me:

There's not much to say. I divorced after 24 years of marriage and enjoy living on my own. I'm not interested in entering a relationship. I'm still getting to know who I've become. I understand how hard it is to be a single mom, although my children were pretty much grown when my marriage ended. Family is important to me. I have four daughters and four grandchildren (2 boys, 2 girls), and we stay in touch on a daily basis. I've been writing for almost fifteen years and sold my first book to Silhouette Romance in 2000, adding four more books sold before the line closed. I then sold to Harlequin American Romance in 2007 and really enjoy writing stories about families and communities! I've always been a prolific reader, so writing came naturally, starting when I was in grade school. I could never not write. In high school, I became involved in drama and appeared in three high school productions. In the 1980's, I was among a group of people who started a local community theater and enjoyed it very much, acting in several of the productions and directing one of them. I think writing and acting both give me the chance to be "someone else", at least for a while, and it's fun! Besides writing and providing childcare for my grandkids (Known as the "kidlets"), I also design websites, mostly for other authors. Like writing, it's creative, but in a vastly different way. I believe we need to make the most of every moment of our lives and try to understand others, heling, if needed, when we can.

Who I'd like to meet:

No one in particular.
