Highway 13 ArT Over eight years ago in a Bay Area high school science class two very different imaginative classmates collided artistic interests. Together they created a great life long friendship and a dream. Jamie and myself (Shauna) clashed our love of 1970’s Vintage style with a wicked sense of morbid beauty. After years of a long talked about dream of making our creative mark in this world we came up with a plan to design our own jewelry and art. We wanted to create a product that we’d wear with pride. After that our inspirations sparked from rock and roll music to classic horror films and even the diverse crowds of Telegraph Ave. When we created Highway 13 Art ( A name taken from a beloved song ) our mission began. Night and day we worked to develop handcrafted, uniquely detailed and one of a kind jewelry. Our specialty earrings range from fun & flirty to exotic Victorian. Fans of Highway 13 Art describe our style as Andy Warhol meets Count Dracula. Our jewelry suits any occasion from charming day wear to flirtatious evening and sultry nights.
