You name it, someone in our band listens to it. Each member of Rumrunners listens to a very different brand of music, which we feel strengthens our texture and repertoire.

With the different musical backgrounds and different musical tastes combined, we can bring a very crowd pleasing mix of songs that go from the 1950’s to songs that have hit the charts this year, from country, rock, blues, and pop. The blend of the unique and powerful voice of John with the Robin Wilson-esque vocals of Mario, and the overall harmonies that four singers bring together present a unique take on many favorite songs
The band began as a 3 piece in 2003 in the at Miami University, experimenting with different lineups and now includes John G - Vocals and Keys, Mario Contardi - Vocals and Guitar Josh Mowry (Zod) - Bass and BGV, Kevin Grubb (Kage) - Drums, and Matt Rank - Guitars and BGV.
After a 2006 summer that saw many changes, a reworked lineup, more songs, and the transition development to the next phase for RumRunners. Hope you enjoy what the band has in store, and we’ll see you at the shows!

fabulous as always, however i've had the pleasure of seeing you play 2 times in the past 2 weeks so i think i'm spoiled. i couldn't have asked for a better NYE :):):)
We don’t know each other…yet. I’ll be at your NYE show in Chicago, and I’m SO F-ING EXCITED for it. Can't wait for your live music.
This is probably not a strange request, although it might be unique to receive over MySpace…is there even a slight chance that I could get on stage at one point during the night? I love music, I love to perform, and I have excellent hair. On NYE ’07, I managed to work my way up onto the stage, where I got to sing part of Pour Some Sugar On Me to a packed house of 300+ people. I'm not the best singer, but I have GREAT stage presence. Even if I could just dance with you...
I’ll see you at Joe’s On Weed. I’ll be front and center, dancing. My name is Amanda.
Thanks for the autographed poster that you left for me at The Stadium this past weekend! You guys are so dreamy! Hope to catch up again soon in Oxford or Chicago, etc.
You all need to play this Friday in Cincy because we're having a cohort reunion so people are coming in from Colorado and need a dose of your music. We have a wedding in Oxford on Saturday so we can't go to Play by Play.
