| Bio | Michael Slack knew from childhood he was destined to become a prominent figure in the yet-established field of Major-League-Baseball-playing archaeology. Unfortunately, adulthood finds Michael lacking the skill of a pro athlete, as well as the raw animal magnetism of the average archaeologist. Given little choice, he has lowered himself to a life of stand-up comedy until a promising career in mall security takes off.
Regarded by peers as one of the sharpest, quickest wits in the business, Michael is a perpetual fish out of water. Too old to be hip, and too young to actually break one, he stumbles through a world that seems determined to pants him and tie him to the goalposts. Wielding an astute comfortable style often describe as "amplified by microphone" and a way with women even more often described as "feeble", Michael engages audiences with a smart, clean flexible approach that appeals to club and private audiences alike.

Michael Slack is a favorite at the San Jose Improv, where he has featured for some of the best in the business, including Brian Regan, Bob Saget, Richard Lewis and Jeff Dunham. Michael's clean, comfortable style also makes him a favorite for private and corporate events -- he has entertained audiences from Cisco, Nokia, Intel, Yahoo!, HBSC, Ernst & Young, Century 21 and many, many more. Currently, Michael is appearing at Shell gas stations nationwide in NBC/Universal's "NBC at the Pump".
