  • Bio

First there was KC. Freshly renewed to rock and roll from jazz after being inspired by Ritual De Lo Habitual, and The Liars Club was formed. A revolving cast of members and a self titled full length release later, the name and reputation in the Seattle rock scene was building with a slough of shows at venues all over the NW. Fall of 2006 KC found a guitar player to his liking in Chris Craig, who brought a rhythmic stabbing and searing tonal presence to the music. The two instantly began writing, and found a new voice together, shaping the sound of the new music for The Liars Club. Falling somewhere between the influential sound of early Seattle music of the 90's, strong pop style melodies of great 60's band like The Kinks, punk, and great hard rock, their sound was formed. Soon joining the rhythm section was Alex Difabio, a Chicago transplant who came to the northwest seeking new musical avenues. A perfect fit to The Liars Club on bass, he filled in the spaces one guitar could not, and widened the dynamic within the band. The newest member of The Liars Club family was Steve Popplewell on drums. Previously drumming with Sledgeback, Steve brought a powerhouse wallop to the drumming that cemented that hard as nails sounding rhythm section so crucial to the sound the songs demanded. The Liars Club have tirelessly played stages across western washington including The Crocodile Cafe, The High Dive, Nectar, ToST, The Bit Saloon, The Sunset Tavern, The Rendezvous Jewel Box Theater, Tommies(rip), The Central, The Funhouse, The Skylark, Tracey's Place, The Manette Saloon, Private parties and receptions. April 2009 the full band went back into The Black Lab Studios with Jules Hodgson and cut an EP due for release in June. The songs demonstrate the cohesion the band commands, and ultimately the best songs we've ever made came out of the sessions. .. ............Myspace Layouts.. - ..Image Hosting.. - ..Comments.... .. .... .... ..........View The Liars Club's EPK.. .. .... .... .. ....">......View The Liars Club On GotSeen.. ..........Vote now for....The Liars Club.... .............. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ......

..K.C Rehberg sings, serves the last legal drug to the masses, and has a photographic memory of every Southpark episode ever. .. ..Chris Craig plays a little gee-tar, does his best to keep the Fords of this world running, and still has time to make everyone he meets think he's an absolute ass. .. ..Alex Difabio serves up delicious bass lines in between his high powered career of data entry and his aging white-boy afterschool basketball league games. To keep up with it all he now drinks several gallons of Rockstar every day. .. ..Steve Popplewell plays the drums, toils in Wonkas magic factory with the Oompa-Lumpas every day, and enjoys making the rest of the band feel like inferior musicians. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ......

    Some reviews from episode 2
‘Good stuff-very impressed. Has a very Kevin Smith, slightly 'Clerks' kinda feel-very good writing. And with his mannerisms the guy in the black shirt reminds me a little of Allen Covert from all the Adam Sandler movies.’-Travis Szudajski myspace.com/one_man_army82

Excellent! I must say it was like watching Vince Vaughn and Ben Stiller having a conversation. The script was fantastic and the cinematography was Outstanding! I liked it…Keep up the GREAT work-   myspace.com/amigouv
I actually couldn't stop watching it. Witty conversations. I dug it. '-Amanda myspace.com/Efficientkiller
