Frankie Dee was born a Baby Boomer, turning 13 in 1959. He grew up listening to Standards at the breakfast table and Top 40 Rock and Roll after Dinner. He fell asleep listening to Alan Freed.
Later on, he would discover "Cousin Brucie" Morrow, and the great "Murray the K" Kaufman and "Jocko" Henderson...
After some College and four years in the US Army, including a tour in Viet Nam, he came home to discover Progressive Format Radio, and later on Felix Hernandez' [R & B] Rhythm Revue.
He attended the Columbia School of Broadcasting and mastered "two - POT" { 2 - Turntable } Radio.
In 2001, he took to the Internet "Air Waves" as a DJ for a Doo Wop Club Radio Station. His weekly 11 - hour broadcasts (!!) became the stuff of legend. He then went to work at a Classic Rock /Oldies station. He then moved on to an Oldies Station , and then another, where he created his unique "Eclectic Format" (with a lot of help from his fans and listeners) .
He has found a home at XPowerRadio.com (Taking it to the X-treme!") where his format and "Wildman" style have garnered fans aged 16 to 66, from England to New Zealand, and Mexico to Canada.
