THE STRESS REELIEVER
"Stress Reeliever" is a professionally rigged Ocean Master with high end Furuno electronics and the finest in fishing tackle. Twin 225HP Mercury's, 2 VHF radios, Furuno GPS color chartplotter, 24NM radar, Furuno color fish finder, cell phone, Rupp tuna tower and outriggers, tackle, Shimano Tiagra 2-speed reels, Calstar Graphite trolling rods, a full assortment of "Sumo Tackle" stand-up harnesses and fighting belts, Orthopedic Padded Rest Area with huge bimini shade, marine toilet, First-Aid Kit, and all the necessary emergency / safety equipment onboard. Boat is equipped with a live well and tuna tubes. We also have a smaller bait fishing boat fishing for us exclusively ensuring we have the live bait required for the trip without wasting the customers time looking for bait (like some of the other boats).

Come relax and feel the freedom to move around... With its large Open Center Console design, 10ft. wide Cockpit area, & 360 degrees of walk around deck space available, the 31 Ocean Master provides plenty of shade and room to fish comfortably!
"Stress Reeliever" is by far the fastest Quepos sport fishing boat and has the reputation of getting Anglers on the Quepos Fishing grounds in short time! That extra 20 minutes means everything when it comes to fishing and ever one knows that great catches often occur during the final minutes of the day. Owner/Captain John also strives to be the first of boats to arrive on the scene and plans on being the last boat to pack it up and head back home for the day! Customer satisfaction and a memorable catch are our top priorities!
What We Catch!

Quepos Fishing Adventure is without a doubt the best, most reasonably priced charter fishing service in Quepos and Costa Rica. Try us out once, and you'll get HOOKED!

Orders were clear today! Our customer came down from Colorado and rented out the boat all by himself (he brought his wife) and he wanted one sailfish and then he wanted to eat Tuna for dinner! We actually hadn't had a tuna in a couple of weeks because no one had asked for one, so I was a little nervous. So we went out and got some sardines like we were going to do inshore fishing and then we set off with the live well full! Since the sail wouldn't be that difficult, I decided to go out about 25 miles on a heading of 180. When we stopped I put the Bally Hoo out and then started trolling fast looking for big groups of Dolphins. I know that when you find a pod of Dolphins splashing around it usually is because they have the bait fish in a tight ball. That's usually the best place to find the Yellow finned tunas! We spent all morning trolling and we got our sailfish (a very nice one too) but I was after Tuna! Then it happened. I saw a bunch of boats in the distance and after calling them on the radio I found out that they were just dolphin watching and eating lunch. They said there wasn't anything in the dolphins, but I had my sardines I had caught earlier and figured there is no Yellow-Finned Tuna alive that will turn down a sardine lunch. Sure enough, before long we were in a fight with a huge Yellow-Finned Tuna! It's fun fighting the Tunas because the are so strong. We spent at least 20 minutes in the battle until we finally got him on board. Sushi for everyone! Cheetah (not only my mate, but also the on board chef!) quickly had the Tuna filleted up and we got those steaks on ice for what will be one of the best Tuna Steak dinners this man will probably ever have! After that, with our guy happy catching exactly what he wanted, his wife decided that she would like to go back and see the Dolphins more. It is always cool when you find a big pod like this. There was at least 1000 Dolphins in an area no bigger than a football field (American football, that is!) They come up to the boat and splash you, and they did flips for us and we just chilled an hour and watched. It was a really nice day! I remember our customer saying this was just what he needed to de-stress from the rat race. We cruised back in and caught some other smaller fish, and overall the day was a huge success! Another great day fishing aboard the Stress Reeliever!
*disclaimer - I got a little lucky and can't always "fill orders" exactly like this. But you better believe I'll let the whole world know in my blog everytime I do!!!
