About me:
I love music, going to gigs, finding new bands, finding out about old bands that I have never heard of (if anyone has any suggestions, they would be more than welcome).
I would like to say that I spend most of my free time doing cultural things like visiting galleries and going to the theatre, but mainly I spend my free time shopping (its a recognised addiction).
I enjoy writing poetry and painting, but rarely like what I have written/painted, which leads me to suspect that I am either very rubbish at both of the above, or too self critical (I'm hoping its the latter!)
I have just got back from 2 months in Africa, which I am missing like crazy. It was so amazing living in a village in the middle of nowhere without running water, or electricity. I got to see some beautiful parts of Africa, lakes, mountains, secluded beaches... as well as go on a Safari and see among other things Elephants! I got to teach in a school and teach about HIV/AIDS to local villages. It has been the most amazing experience (even if at the time it was sometimes really difficult)
In the new year I am going to Australia, New Zealand and Fiji, to relax, kickback and soak up some sunshine, (since getting back from Africa I am constantly cold!), and if I can squeeze it in a ski trip (preferably France again). In March I move permanently back to London and start my job as a lawyer for one of the world's biggest firms... SCARY. I am kind of looking forward to it as its going to be very challenging, but the thought of crazily long hours leaves me apprehensive!
I can't wait to see what 2007 has to bring, hopefully more traveling (when I can get off work), more fun times with my fabulous friends, lots of cute men, health, wealth and all the rest! xxxx

Who I'd like to meet:
Good people I haven't met before. Interesting people with something to talk about. Passionate people with ideas! Just anyone who you could spend and evening with and feel at the end of it that you could happily spend another evening with them!
I would also like to meet the following people but they are dead, so there is very little chance of that happening:
Neitzsche,
John Betjeman,
Oscar Wilde,
Audrey Hepburn,
Gustav Klimt,
Egon Schiele,
Philip Larkin
