The 2006 St. Louis Filmmakers' Showcase heralds this short film as "... A Witty Parody of "24" called "48"!"
..
In "48" an infamous terrorist, Ali Hassan(Chris Armstead,"A Midsummers Night Dream") has been captured. The President has given super-agent Jack Bauer (Lawrence Engle, "Signals from Above") the authority to interogate Ali Hassan and do whatever is necessary to locate the bomb before time runs out. Toni Fairchild (Shanna Landgrave, ""Crucible," "Walkin The Zombie") is already in the interogation room when Jack charges in to find out who the terrorist is working for. The only problem is that Jack doesn't know what Ali Hassan looks like. "48" is a short film that has been picked up by Cinema St. Louis and will be premiering in the 2006 St. Louis Filmmakers' Showcase at the Tivoli Theater on Monday, July 24, 2006 at 9:30 p.m. Congratuations to the Cast and Crew for all their hard work paying off! Included on the DVD is a 25 minute Documentary on "Making 48." It shows how the cast and crew built the set, shot all the elements needed and did all the special effects for the film in just ONE day. For film making buffs - it's a real treat! Spys in the Nite Productions, Inc and Straight Jacket Pictures would like to thank Cinema St. Louis for hosting the "48" Premiere at the Tivoli Theater in St. Louis. For more information go to www.cinemastlouis.org "48" just released on a Special Edition DVD with "Walkin' the Zombie" and "One Last Chance." Two films that also aired in the 2006 St. Louis Filmmaker's Showcase. To read more about the DVD Release party click here.
Who I'd like to meet:
