  • General

    I love life...though life has in the past always been a struggle for me. I now live everyday "in the moment" I take nothing for granted. I may not know my whole purpose as of yet. But I seize every moment as it is a precious gift..for it is a precious gift that one should be so thankful for..and I am.

  • Music

    I'm a HUGE music lover.My love for music goes in many directions..Though rock is my first love.. I recently have been drawn to a band "One Hand Clapping"

  • Movies

    Well there's probably more that I don't like than I do.. I love almost any 1800's era movies..Gorillas in the Mist,movies that take place in the medieval times. I love a good physiological thriller, not too much blood & guts..Movies that show torture and mutilation is just not right..There's too much in the real world of that..I don't find it entertaining in the least.

  • Television

    I don't watch much..but when I do have it on it would be HGTV,Animal Planet,Cesear Milan,National Geographic,CNN Headline news,farming channels,Rachel Ray. I did like Lost but missed so many episodes I gave up..same with Prison Break.

  • Books

    I read alot of Joyce Meyer...I have become a more confident/better person because of her.Meditation books,yoga,Slowing Down To The Speed of Life, anything I can get my hands on to help me better understand myself/life/others. If it has to do with herbs,perennials,Holistic approachs to living life, landscaping,nature,interior design,farming its probably in my library or at my desk..

    Heroes to me are those that sincerely reach out and help others..

About me:

I'm a mother of 6 beautiful children.Ranging in age from 29-8 yrs.I still have a wonderful son and daughter at home. I'm also a Nana..I have 6 grandchildren ages 7yrs -6 months.My children are "thee" most important things in my life. I also have a wonderful man in my life. We share a love of music and animals together.I have a love of NATURE,ANIMALS & PEOPLE.I've found it hard to find others with my same interests..though I know they are out there..I feel like alot of the times I'm the minority. I love the simple life, as simple as I can make it. I find it hard to live life as others do, since life seems too complex and too busy for me. Life isnt easy and hasnt been easy for me in the least..I've come through it thus far struggling to understand the ways of the world. I truely can't understand the hatred and suffering that surrounds us. The need for most to be powerful and controling baffles my mind. It is something I can not understand. I'm very "GREEN" so I live my life as "green' as possible. Trying to enlighten others of my same beliefs. I'm strong willed, for if I hadnt been I never would have made it this far. I have an open mind though,but one that is creative also. One that is geared in one direction..that direction being to live life as a happy one. Hoping to give and share with others. To show my children that we were given the chance to live this life on this beautiful planet and given life to reap all the beauties of the world. To make this world a better place and to discover in our life time the billions of "wonders" that surround us. I have "my ways" but I'm always interested in the ways of others. Especially if they are ways to being more self-suffient,green,and spreading the joy and happiness we were put here to have. We were not put here by chance. There is a purpose for each and everyone of us. Finding our purpose IS our reason for being...I truely believe that.
