Over the course of this extraordinary career, Vida, and their alter-ego, The Electric Cowboys have received multiple awards in some of Tejano and Country music's major categories. To that success the group has also added touring with the Dixie Chicks on their "Fly" Tour. The group has also shared the stage with many other country artists such as: Jo Dee Messina, Clay Walker, Toby Keith, and SHeDAISY, Restless Heart and Kevin Fowler. .. .. Whether it is Tejano, or Country, this band has managed to capture the hearts and lives of music fans across the nation. This unpredictable group's foundation is built upon solid dedication, hard work, team-effort that comes directly from the heart. Everyone gives 101%. Vida's release "Ultimo Segundo" only continued the success as hit single "Tomas Tomas" Climbed the charts. With hard work and dedication and months of long hours working very closely with J-Beck records producer, Carl Becker VIDA their first Country album entitled: "Prisoner of the Honky Tonk". In as little as three weeks after their release, hit single "Because I Love You", secured the 6 position on Texas Radio 947, 4 on BNET Radio, and 4 on USA Tejano, gaining media attention from Nashville's Music Row, CD-TEX, Italy's finest, Planet Country.
