Jason B. Thompson's Blurbs |
About me:
I am actually the author of Manga: The Complete Guide, an encyclopedia of all manga printed in English coming out in August 2007. My name is Jason Thompson and I'm a manga editor, comics artist and writer for Otaku USA magazine. I was born in San Francisco, grew up in Sonoma County, went to school at UC San Diego, moved back to San Francisco, and worked for Viz (the anime and manga publisher) for 10 years. I've read almost every manga published in English.
I've also drawn a bunch of comics, of which my current and favorite project is The Stiff. I also adapted some H.P. Lovecraft stories. I live in the Tenderloin, and I've been blessed to have nerdy jobs all my life.
Lastly, I have a livejournal.
