About me:
I am post christian, post human, post post bla bla bla.I have lost my innocence at the cost of the learning of my mysterious glory. I write, learn, teach and pray along side Katherine, a band of brothers & sisters and a gracious extended family occasionally called the Wellspring / New Adam Community . I have spent some years teaching in the cerbral world of academia, making music and art along side some of my best friends and am currently working out my salvation with a spiritual / artist colony of like minded and like hearted creatives in Nashville & Chicago. We are commited to inherent unmarketability of beauty, truth, and goodness through display, proximity, and gift giving. I oversee a blog dialgue entitled The Practice of Beauty which is a part of ORB (The Organization for the Restoraiton of Beauty) http://thepracticeofbeauty.blogspot.com Two other blogs are The Pedestrian Mystic and Subversive Orthodoxy. http://thepedestrianmystic.blogspot.com/ http://subversiveorthodoxy.blogspot.com/ I am commited to an ethic of conversation and dialogue that goes beyond affimation and denial. I am unabashedly a follower of the great teacher and Messiah Jesus Christ. Anything more seems unimportant unless shared over a meal, worship, or an extravagant dispaly of beauty.
