I'm still very much into writing poetry, just like good 'ol Ms. Tollstrup taught us. I would have loved to try writing as my career, but bills got in the way.

About me:
It's been 12 years since I've been out of high school. Crazy how time flies! Well, here's a bit of my life now: My hubby Doug and I have been together for almost 11 years now, we will be celebrating our 6th wedding anniversary on July 26th. Doug is such a wonderful man, and is a huge part of my life!
We have been blessed with a beautiful baby girl, Aissa, who was born on October 27, 2008. We dealt with years of fertility issues and never thought this would happen to us. We're on cloud 9, nothing could be better than holding our little miracle in our arms.
Family: I'm grateful for having such a big family, my side and Doug's. I wish we could all get together more often, but we're all busy. Our handsome nephew Ivan was born August 25th, 2006. He can be a handful, but his kisses and hugs make it all worthwhile! =)
Doug and I do some traveling every now and then, it's nice to get away and just relax. Even a 2 day trip to San Diego is perfect for us. Now that Aissa is here, we've gotta start planning family trips! =o)
