Long story short.....
I'm 1/2 Irish & 1/2 German....... and people wonder why I like beer ?!?!?! I was born in Glens Falls, NY but was moved to MA at a young age, and this is where I grew up...... I'm a self-taught drummer, with no lessons at the age of 15 I learned/practiced playing lefty style eventhough I'm right handed... never the less over the years as my drumming has progressed I've learned to play ambidextrous, but I'm most comfortable behind my lefty/righty/universal (acording to me) Gibraltar rack system encasing my Sonor Force 2000 kit with a Pork Pie 14" Black Brass Snare topped off with all the chimes making the high end noises.....I've been playing for alittle over 19 years and have no intentions of ever quitting. I love playing a set for a huge crowd, nothing beats the rush of musical expression. I'm currently not in a band, but if the right situation was there I'd concider it. The last band I was in,Hardtimes, broke up in early November '07. My next project will be a departure from the hardcore/metal style of Hardtimes and have more of a deathmetal/grindcore feel, which is something I've wanted to do for a while now.....can't wait to get back to my musical roots.
I always look foreward to spending as much time as possible with my girlfriend Sara and her boys Thomas and Owen.....always alot of fun ! Wouldn't trade my family for the world ! ! !
More about me..... Back in the mid 80's when I was a kid I couldn't get enough thrash/speed metal : Kreator, Slayer, D.R.I., Megadeth, Sacred Reich, Nuclear Assault, Voivod, Rigor Mortis, Metallica, ect.....Then in the late 80's/early 90's I heard about all this new deathmetal that was coming out : Death, Obituary, Cannibal Corpse, Immolation, Atrocity(W.Germany), Malevolent Creation, Broken Hope, Deicide, Entombed, Morbid Angel, etc.....This is what influenced my musical interests and shaped my drumming style back in the day, I just wish I started playing sooner. Then from there I got my hands on anything that was in that vein of music.....the list of bands could go on and on and on..... I listen to and appreciate ALL styles of music, but cannot get into rap or regae...just don't like it.
Changing gears alittle, I can't get enough of first generation Camaro's and old lifted Chevy Trucks with big displacement engines, loud exhaust, and beefy tires that make a ton of noise..... I've watched, paid attention to, and have been a huge fan of Nascar racing since I was a kid (early '80's)....from the Modifieds to the Winston(Nextel/Sprint/whatever they wanna call it next) Cup Serise... Dale Earnhardt was The Man ! He would have had 8 Championships and more, but Daytona 2001 changed all that..... Dale Jr. will soon win one of many Championships in the Cup Series..... And oh yeah.....I've been playing Poker since forever....weekends with friends playing for small money is always good fun..... and oh, yeah.....BEER............. "mmmmm beeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrr"
anyone working at a gas station, convenience store, or packy that can sell me a 20 million dollar winning lottery ticket... ...or even a 10 million dollar winner, I'm not greedy !
