Pregnancy and childbirth are unique events in any woman or couple’s lives. We, at Bumps Care recognise this well. It is on the basis of that recognition that we have set up this comprehensive service to facilitate that journey and make it as smooth, enjoyable, informed and memorable as possible.
4D ultrasound scans are an amazing and memorable experience for parents to be. It allows mothers and fathers a chance to bond with their unborn before birth. Using the latest ultrasound technology we are be able to see an unborn child in three dimensions, and watch it's movement within the womb - this movement known as 4D.
Whilst the full-spectrum pregnancy ultrasound is our main area of activity, we are much more than that. Bumps Care is a hub of information for all things to do with pregnancy and childbirth; it is a place to get to communicate with professionals, from obstetricians to midwives and ultrasonographers as well as others going through a similar experience. Feel free to share with us your experiences. We will be uploading 3D baby scan photos, 4D baby scan videos, before and after photo gallery, ultrasound articles, medical research on 4D ultrasound, video testimonials and much more.
You will have the opportunity to receive the Bumps-care newsletter and extracts from the best-selling ‘Pregnancy and Childbirth Answers’ book, the author of which is a member of the Bumps team.
From time to time Bumps-care will organise events which will allow members of the Bumps-care community to get together which will give you an opportunity to meet the friends you may have made online and the experts behind it all. Who I'd like to meet: Anyone with an interest in maternity, pregnant women, first time parents, or anyone just thinking about have a 4D scan.
It is recommended that mothers must be between 24 and 32 weeks gestation at the time of their 4D scan.
