We are known as 4D, being school friends and together as a group since September 2004. Relevantly our main achievements in music are to convey various controversial issues. With the entire struggle where we are from, and personal reflections in surviving in harsh communities, surrounded by drug dealers, racism, gang fights etc...
Also delivering messages relating to our social lives and personal encounters.
We intend to communicate to a wider community through music than keeping it in ourselves, also to open people's ears to reality because that’s what hip-hop is all about.
Over the last year we have done various gigs all around the country so In that aspect we are familiar with doing live gigs for large and small audience.

Bringdaruckus.com are organising 1 on 1 and 2 on 2 street battles to determine who is the best in Scotland.
Hosted by Respek BA
How will this work? Here are the details...
Each will consist of:
3 - 60 second rounds each... if no winner:
1 - 60 second round each... if no winner:
3 punchlines each - winner WILL be announced (NO INTERNET VOTE!!!)
It will work using a point system (each round):
2 points for a win
1 point for a draw
0 points for a loss
All battles will be judged by 3 judges. Judges decision is final.
There will be two leagues, one West and one East. Winner from each will battle in a final to determine the Scottish winner.
To determine who battles who, all names will be placed in a hat and called out (which will be filmed and placed online).
The set up will be (depending on how many people take part... i'm using 4 starting battles as an example):
Round 1
Battle 1 = MC 1 v MC 2
Battle 2 = MC 3 v MC 4
Battle 3 = MC 5 v MC 6
Battle 4 = MC 7 v MC 8
Round 2
Battle 1 = Round 1 Battle 1 winner v Round 1 Battle 4 winner
Battle 2 = Round 1 Battle 2 winner v Round 1 Battle 3 winner
Final Round
Battle 1 = Round 2 Battle 1 winner v Round 2 Battle 2 winner
Scottish championship decider (which I hope to happen at a gig I put on)
West winner v East winner
A trophy will be given out to the Glasgow and Edinburgh winners with another trophy handed to the Scottish winner.
We are currently looking for sponsors to help with prize money etc.
If you want to put your name down to take part in the Scottish MC battle championships email your name and if you are from the west or east side to chris@bringdaruckus.com
Let the battle commence!
