With Songs Like "Guardian" that give a heart felt tribute to all the armed forces in this country, "Meaning of Life" that help you learn more about who you are, "How You Are" that keep listeners on their feet anticipating what's going to happen next. This artist is not affraid to travel and keeps it professional.

Derek has toured with many talented musician in the last two years and is making his new album a must listen to all who have wondered where Derek Stone went. This Album has been a year in the making even though faced with adversity, The gracious hand of God, the loving inspiration from his Wife Crystal and son Ashton and lots of help from friends like the Clayton Family, the Guy Family, the Martins and most of all Derek's producer Mark Davis , who has spent countless hours with him, helping Derek produce this record. Has been the fuel that has feed the dream and heart of Derek.

The Tupelo MS, based Artist won three competitions they entered in 2007 that taught him more about the music industry, including;

-The 2007 Battle of The Bands at The Elvis Presley Festival

-The Atlanta Fest leg of the 2007 Artist Ovation Talent search.
-Semi finalist in the Band With a Mission contest for Shoutfest.

-Showcasing in Nashville for Word Label Group

Derek has teamed up with Ben Kasica, the guitar player for Skillet, to mix and master this long awaited album.

So be looking for this guy on tour this summer as well as his new CD due out this Spring.
