Linda Smernoff

67 years old, still working. Doing acccounting work and Director of a non-profit call Sumi Nungwa, Inc., which in Hope means "coming together". We help 35 Navajo and Hopi elders by providing them with food, clothing, medical supplies and wood. Also, we would like them to continue to live in their traditional ways, creating their wonderful art and being able to remain their homes on the reservatons. We are working on alternative energy sources for the reservations buth to decrease the carbon footprint and because wood is becoming scarce.
