Why does anyone give a shit? Who knows. These are my bands from 1990 to 2004. YAY!
Influences
Everything. I mean birds and bus stops, money and architecture. Singing should be whatever it is. Music makes the time not the other way around. Open your eyes everybody. OPEN EM!
By the way, my lyrics blog is now open to public ridicule here:

Sounds Like
I flipped my head over the wrong way and everything fell out.
Oh look, Run DMC and the Fat boys!
Ooh, janes addiction and the cure!
Aww, carole king and Bob Dylan!
How'd that Fresh Prince get in there?
Move over, Zappa you're hogging the place.
Ouch! that must be Slayer and Metallica at the bottom.
Do you smell something? oh, fishbone!
4M multiple grew out of a need to make music and me not having the time to do so with a group. Mister Voxius (aka Aaron Brown) first attempted serious songwriting back in 1992, in a Bingham Street basement in Pittsburgh with the members of Elias Khrone. Here were three guys who had just discovered Jane’s Addiction, Nirvana and Smashing Pumpkins but grew up listening to everything from Rush and AC/DC to Paul Simon and the Kingston Trio. The 1992 cassette only release Elias Khrone featured the shift workers nightmare “The Slow, the Quick and the Crazy” with lyrics by Aaron, a song that was re-recorded in 1995 by Stitchmonkey and included on the Elias Khrone CD Theme From… of 1998.
In 1999 Aaron started writing the songs that would become Psyclotomis Rex, the one and only CD release by Voxius. With members of Hepcat Dilemma and a former drummer of Elias Khrone, Voxius songs like “The Peeler” became crowd pleasing favorites, and the band found itself gaining fans of their original “elastic” acoustic rock sound throughout the Pittsburgh area. In 2001 Voxius appeared at the Three Rivers Arts Festival, an annual Pittsburgh event that included acts like Sonic Youth and Wilco. Voxius also appeared at Three Rivers in 2002.
When Voxius disbanded abruptly in 2003, Mr.Voxius started writing and arranging songs for solo performance. “Make Money At Home” is based upon the strange incident of finding a Tarot card on the sidewalk, and speculating how it might be used for advertising purposes. A former Voxius favorite “Milk and Joy” is a personal story of self realization. The songs that now make up the Atroxius EP started to come together in early 2007. “Guess your Weight”, “Awn the Lon” and “A Hole” were all written while living in Oklahoma. Since moving to Muskogee in 2006, Mr.Voxius has been maintaining a presence on the web, and staying in touch with fans in Pittsburgh and around the world through MySpace and Soundclick.com. Most recently, Mr. Voxius has performed as part of the Bare Bones Film Festival in Muskogee, and Under the Mooch in Tulsa.
How the hell did we end up on Oklahoma and New York? Went back to Pittsburgh a few months ago, everywhere I knew is gone. Ah where the hell do the kids jam these days???
I know it it is entirely short notice, but YSOTC IV has been postponed until Sept. because the entire field is a big muddy flooded mess, and the street is closed. Truly Sorry.
LOL, I remember those little birds outside the window, they woke me up. I went to the Arts Fest today, the Flow Band was playing, it was good. Not much happening here, how are you guys?
Hey man... yeah, I'm pretty sure that's the real exit # if you're coming in on 244 towards downtown... you just take the 1st Street exit until you hit Detroit. There's an outside chance that show's in jeopardy though... long story... I'll let you know if it gets axed.
